Iron Horse developed from a dream of owning and raising animals that produce some of the finest wool/fiber products. It grew to incorporate a community of local artisans to showcase and bring their one of a kind hand crafted art to the community. Joining the Natick downtown area and highlighting our artisans as well as expanding the fiber products, yarns, fiber art equipment and continuing our full line of classes and workshops has made the circle complete. We are unique in what we offer and hope you will stop in for a visit.
When it comes to knitting, crocheting, felt making or hand spinning, no question is silly. Our wish is for everyone who wants to learn or to continue with their fiber art passion have a peaceful place to come. Our co-op members and staff are willing to help you select the special gift, accessory, fiber product or equipment.

Crochet a long Saturdays March 16th., 30th and April 13th, 1:00-3:00
Are you a fan of the Outlander story? If so, you will not want to miss this crochet a long. A thousand Kisses pattern by CJ Brady, inspired by the series. It uses one skein of fingering/sock yarn. We have a great selection to choose from!
If you are new to crochet all you need to be able to do is chain 3, single and double crochet.

Learn how to weave on a rigid heddle loom, Sunday April 7th, 9:00am-4:30pm.
Weaving is a great way to use up stashed yarn, especially those little bits and pieces of partial skeins.
In this one day course participants will learn how to warp a rigid heddle loom using worsted weight yarn., discuss shrinkage, change colors while warping and weaving, weave a simple twill pattern and tie off your piece to take home and wash.

How many of you have that UFO (Unfinished Object) buried in the closet, under the bed or staring at you in a bag? It's time to finish that project! Dust it off, find the pattern and bring it
Karin will be hosting these sessions. There will be encouragement, laughter and occasionally a little showing of tears when someone needs to rip back but you will be in good company! There will be minimal instruction during these sessions but the community of knitters can offer help.
